All about balloons!
A little balloon know-how to help your celebration go smoothly.
How long will my balloons last?
Helium is sensitive to temperature so we suggest keeping your balloons away from extreme heat & extreme cold. Our latex balloons are made from natural rubber so over time the helium escapes, the balloons will become smaller and start to lose their ability to float. We recommend inflating your balloons as close to the start time of your event as possible.
Your balloon questions, answered!

I use quality latex and foil balloons to bring your celebrations to life!
Latex balloons are made from natural rubber rather than traditional plastic. Although latex is a natural material, balloons should always be disposed of responsibly to help protect our wildlife and environment.
Foil balloons can often be deflated and reused, depending on their condition. Simply insert a straw carefully into the valve to release the air or helium.

A little planning goes a long way when transporting your balloons!
For helium balloons, I recommend collecting them as close to your celebration as possible to get the most out of their float time.
If you're collecting a balloon garland, make sure you have plenty of room in your vehicle. Folding down the back seats can help create extra space.
As a general guide, smaller 1.5m garlands may fit in a regular car with the seats folded down, while larger 3.5m–5m garlands are better suited to a large SUV, station wagon or van.
Always transport your balloons inside the vehicle, away from sharp objects and direct sunlight. Never leave inflated balloons in a hot parked car.
If you're unsure whether your balloons will fit, just ask me before collection!

Balloons love a little TLC!
For the best results, keep your balloons indoors, away from direct sunlight, sharp objects and extreme temperatures.
Heat can cause balloons to expand and potentially burst, while cold temperatures can cause helium balloons to temporarily shrink or lose some of their lift.
Latex balloons naturally lose helium over time, so I always recommend planning your collection time around your celebration.
With a little care, your balloons can stay looking their best for longer!

The short answer is no.
I don't provide balloons for releases, as released balloons can harm wildlife and the environment.
I encourage everyone to keep their balloons secured and dispose of them responsibly once the celebrations are over.

Once the party is over, please dispose of your balloons responsibly!
Latex balloons should be popped, and all pieces collected to prevent them from becoming litter or harming wildlife.
Foil balloons can sometimes be carefully deflated and saved for another celebration.
I also have a balloon recycling collection point in my Lilydale shop, where you can return eligible used balloons for recycling.
